A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Hirex Water Damage sends licensed technicians straight to your Utica address with extraction equipment already loaded and running.
Too many Utica, NY families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its Utica operation differently. Every technician on our Utica roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our crew leads carry IICRC water restoration certifications and have logged real hours on Category 1, 2, and 3 losses, so Water Damage Repair in Utica isn't a side service we tacked on β it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Utica, NY, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Because our equipment lives in a Utica, NY warehouse rather than out of state, we're not waiting on a supply run before we can start extraction.
Anyone in Utica who has had a supply line fail overnight knows the real cost isn't the leak itself, it's how long the standing water sits before someone with the right equipment arrives. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Utica call at a time.
The most expensive Utica restoration jobs we run almost never started as a dramatic flood; they started as something small that got put off. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse β call our Utica line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Utica crews scale the response to match the loss β nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Our Utica units run truck-mount extraction pumps that pull thousands of gallons per hour, cutting standing-water time from days to hours. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once water is out, we bring in commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, positioned using psychrometric readings rather than guesswork, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For families in Utica, this covers flood-cut drywall removal, subfloor evaluation, and packing out salvageable belongings for cleaning, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
For commercial Utica accounts, we assign a project lead, run crews after normal hours to reduce downtime, and bring equipment sized to the actual footprint β we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination β our Utica crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
On top of standard drying, our Utica crews treat affected materials to reduce mold risk and will be upfront if a section needs specialist remediation.
Every Utica estimate is written and explained before work begins β no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.
Local staging inside Utica, NY means Utica response times usually beat the national average by a wide margin.
We photograph and log every step specifically so your claim moves faster and you're not the one arguing with the insurance company.
If moisture readings aren't where they should be at the end of the job, we come back and keep drying at no extra charge.
Our Utica team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
The closest available technician is routed to your Utica property with equipment staged and ready.
We remove standing water first, then map moisture and position air movers and dehumidifiers based on the readings.
We re-check moisture levels daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records or your insurer.
Every Utica job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That's not a marketing line β it's written into every Utica work order we issue. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.
